Late Summer Wedding at French Creek Golf Club
Sarah and Joshua’s late summer wedding on August 30, 2019 was a beautiful day at French Creek Golf Club in Elverson, Pa with a backdrop of trees and a lake with a historic spring house. Sarah loved boxwood and moss, two main elements we incorporated into her flowers with her favorite colors of yellows, peaches and oranges. It’s that perfect time of year when you still have sunflowers and dahlias but fall flowers are starting to infiltrate the landscape with grasses, celosia and antiqued hydrangeas.

Styled Photo Shoot at Merion Tribute House, Merion Station, PA
We definitely had late summer feels in September with bold golds and greens. It was an attention grabber that complimented the surroundings. No fading into the background here! The backdrop for this day was a stately historic mansion that was built after WW1 to recognize the 81 men from Merion that served in the armed forces and acted as a community center. The history of the building and the architecture enhanced the bold design and color of the balloons and flowers such as proteas, roses, eucalyptus, succulents, grasses and feathers in this collaboration in unexpected ways!
